- Smart & Skilled -
Manufacturing Training Australia (MTA) delivers nationally recognised training in New South Wales through the Smart and Skilled government-funded training program.
Smart and Skilled is a NSW Government initiative that helps eligible students access subsidised vocational education and training, including apprenticeships and traineeships, in priority industry areas.
Through this funding, eligible apprentices and trainees may receive government support toward the cost of their training while working in industry and gaining real workplace experience.

MTA currently has the following qualifications available with training subsidies Supported by Smart and Skilled New South Wales for eligible participants:
Certificate II in Apparel, Fashion and Textiles
As a funded traineeship, MST20722 Certificate II in Apparel, Fashion and Textiles aims to allow students to undertake an introductory overview of skills applied in the fashion industry within a highly supervised environment.
Certificater III in Leather Product
As a funded apprenticeship, MST30519 Certificate III in Leather Production provides the skills and knowledge required to perform supervision roles, specialised tasks or multi-skilled roles within a leather production environment.
